Endorsements
I did not actively seek out endorsements during my campaign as I am dedicated to being a non-partisan candidate. I personally do not see the value in seeking out endorsements from former politicians who no longer serve that role. Dan and Madhuri have done this yet they have not worked with them. Please do not be fooled by such tactics. Their endorsements cannot speak for any work they have done together since no such work exists. I did have a constituent offer me an endorsement and am only sharing it because he is a resident like yourself. I hope one of your neighbour’s perspective helps you understand how I hope to interact like this with the rest of you if elected in:
Bill Wu
I had an opportunity to connect with Bill Wu after I thoroughly did my research on who gets my endorsement for Trustee in Ward 22. I shared how I ultimately decided to vote for him because of the story he shared on the main page of his website. My website also happens to have a personal touch like his on the main page and I found that it spoke to me.
One of the highlights of this experience is being able to connect with people who are genuinely passionate about the issues that specifically pertain to our community. I have been granted permission to publicly endorse him and am happy to have someone like him running in our ward.
