Scarborough-Agincourt Needs New Leadership Today
Remember The Name
My name is Sindia. I live and breathe politics. It affects our everyday lives. From the time I started my education, I have been a part of the student council since elementary to law school. As someone who was raised and resides in Scarborough-Agincourt, I felt it was about time I stepped up for the community that helped shape me into the person I am today. No one understands the issues this ward has been facing better than someone who only has this place to call home.
“When you have lived the experience, you become an advocate for the issue.”

Why I'm Running
Professional
I worked many years as a legal consultant; tackling an array of problems that affected our neighbourhood, before I found the courage to put my name forward for this election after many years of stagnancy. I served as a chosen note taker in university and at Queen’s Law, refining the attention to detail required for effective policy management.

Advocacy
Issues surrounding housing instability, unreliable transit, and food scarcity are matters that I have been exposed to first-hand. When you have lived the experience, you become an advocate for the issue. My education and student council roles have been a lifelong training for this moment.
